However, there is an important aspect to consider in the double-sided printing method. Technology generally allows for double-sided printing on any type of material. However, it is important to prevent prints from overlapping when exposed to sunlight. Most materials used in the advertising industry cannot solve this issue. However, blackout materials are an exception in this category. Because in blackout materials, a black separating layer is placed between the two surfaces to be printed on both sides. The logic is simple: to provide a black background that affects both surfaces. However, the aim is that this background is not noticeable after printing. The black layer makes light transmission impossible, thus allowing healthy printing on both sides.
